Eucharistic Ministers share in the distribution of the Eucharist (Communion) at all the weekday and Sunday Masses as well as special liturgical celebrations in the parish. The Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion distribute the Eucharist to the faithful in a reverent, sincere and faith-filled manner. They also bring communion to the homebound and to residents of the nursing homes and hospitals. Ministers must be fully initiated adults (Baptized, received the Eucharist and Confirmed) and are invited to this ministry by the Pastor and the Pastoral Staff. Training for this ministry is required and is provided by the Diocese.
